I would like to thank my husband, Vittorio, for his constant support and great patience in bearing and respecting my tight schedules and my countless engagements. I Also thank my son Luca because I can always count on him when I need technical support with my computer, or when I need help in general. Thanks to my sweet daughter Benedetta, who is very good-natured and fills me with joy with her liveliness, creativity and positiveness. Thanks to Cinzia, always so positive and good-natured too! My family is so precious, they make me feel loved and appreciated. Thanks to my parents: Carmen (who still encourages me) and Ruggero (he died when I was 17) for having supported me and encouraged me in studying music when I was a little child and through my youth. I can't forget to thank my brothers and sister: Marco, Laura and Fabio for the wonderful moments we shared. With Marco I used to play organizing "imitation" contests. We used to imitate singers and famous artists. We had such fun! With Laura I sang a lot. We used to close the door of our room and rehearse "Jesus Christ Superstar" a cappella for hours! Fabio accompanied us with his guitar countless times. We learned the most beautiful rock ballads, and he used to play them flawlessly. When we were children, I used to organize a Christmas Play in my room featuring Laura, Marco and Fabio (apart from myself), and we also included a little piano concert because we all used to take piano lessons.

I wish to thank every single student I had, because I had the opportunity of learning something new from each one of them. Through each student I learnt by direct experience many things that I couldn't otherwise have experienced. So I wish to thank them one by one, for the affection, and the satisfactions they gave me, and for having trusted me all along the way.

I would also like to thank and remember Alessandro, who died suddenly and prematurely, leaving family and friends speechless...."You used to accompany me at the piano, while I was singing...... And even when I was doing something else, when I heard you playing the introduction of a song I knew, I stopped doing what I was doing to join you at the piano. Sometimes I even risked burning all the dinner............."  Thankyou for the time you spent with all of us........

I would also like to devote a thought as light as the sky to Giuseppe, Giusi for his friends... I would like to thank him for the time he spent with us and for the things he taught us....... This is a space for our loved ones who left this World, but who are constantly in our hearts.......... In a way, they still live in us.

And if I should thank all the people who taught me something during my life, a thousand pages would not be enough. So I will simply thank all the friends, colleagues, educators, artists, musicians, that I met, and even those that I never had a chance to meet but influenced me through their music or their art.
